Independent wrestlers Joey Janela and Zandig pulled off an insane spot as they dove off a roof through a table set on fire and into the bed of a pickup truck

When you’re talking about independent wrestling, there are many different variations, styles, sizes of crowds, and so on. However, everything is still done in the name of pleasing the crowd and in doing stuff that’s completely unique. So when wrestlers go to do a show for a promotion wanting to push the hardcore wrestling boundaries, those wrestlers are prepared for insanity. That was certainly the case on Sunday night at GameChanger Wrestling’s Zandig Tournament of Survival in New Jersey for Joey Janela and hardcore legend Zandig.

There’s no need to set up what these two wrestlers did; all you have to do is simply state the facts.

Janela and Zandig were on the roof of a building as a pickup truck sat on the ground below with a table that had been set on fire in the bed of the truck. Then the two wrestlers dove off and went through the whole setup:

What!? Human beings survived that!?

Not only did these two wrestlers survive the fall from the roof, but the legend Zandig won the match. Since this was a tournament being held in his name, that meant he had another match long after—which he wrestled in.

Obviously this stuff is incredibly dangerous, even more so than performing normal professional wrestling moves. However, this is one of those spots with wrestlers pushing the boundaries where hardcore fans are in awe and those opposed are disgusted. That’s just how these shows and spots on the indies always go.
