The New York Knicks and Evan Turner reportedly have mutual interest.
With the New York Knicks nowhere near the NBA Finals, outside of that Ghostbuster commercial, fans are looking once again to free agency for answers to the problems that have plagued the franchise.
New head coach Jeff Hornacek has a tall order ahead of him in trying to get the Knicks out of the gutter and the first move the team is rumored to be making won’t excite many fans.
According to Alex Kennedy from Basketball Insiders, both the Knicks and free agent forward Evan Turner have mutual interest.

This would be extremely Knicks, which doesn’t mean it’s a bad thing but it probably means it’s not going to be the best move ever. Evan Turner is not at all a superstar but he’s also someone who has show flashes of being a red mid-level guy.
He recently touted is midrange game, of which he doesn’t have the best, and he’s a little too inconsistent to be of top tier value to the Knicks.
