NCAA Baseball Tournament 2016: Updated bracket, Super Regionals set
Looking at the updated bracket for the 2016 NCAA Baseball Tournament now that the eight Super Regionals have been set
The 2016 NCAA Baseball Tournament got underway this past weekend and everything went awry. It wasn’t just the fact that it seemed like an inordinate amount of games were getting postponed due to weather and so on, but it was also the fact that the phrase “anything can happen” never seemed truer than in the 16 regional matchups.

Despite the fact that only one of the top-8 national seeds in the 2016 NCAA Baseball Tournament were eliminated, that doesn’t mean that things didn’t get quite wild with throughout. For the record, the Clemson Tigers were that one national seed ousted as the Oklahoma State Cowboys went undefeated in the Clemson Regional to advance.
More surprising, though, is that the two teams that competed for the College World Series title last season in the Vanderbilt Commodores and the defending champion Virginia Cavaliers were also eliminated as the UC Santa Barbara Gauchos and East Carolina Pirates advanced out of those two regions.

That matchup between the Florida Gators and Florida State Seminoles is always great, but don’t sleep on TCU vs. Texas A&M or an intriguing matchup with South Carolina Oklahoma State. All we can say is that if you thought the regionals for the 2016 NCAA Tournament were wild, buckle in.
