Will Wednesday night and NXT: Takeover the end be the last appearance for Finn Balor on the brand?
Wednesday night we will be treated to yet another exciting NXT Takeover special, as NXT Takeover: The End will take place from Full Sail University. Of course, everyone knows that the evening will be highlighted by the steel cage match for NXT title as Samoa Joe will defend against former champ Finn Balor.

Really, though, while everyone is looking forward to the match itself, which should be fantastic, something that everyone is thinking about is: Will this be the last time that we see Balor in NXT? Has his time on the hot brand come to an end?
When you think about all of the circumstances surrounding the situation, the answer here would probably be yes. This will be the fourth bout between the two men, and really, there’s no need to take the title off of Joe right at the moment, seeing that he’s probably the hottest heel in the entire company at the moment, and that includes the main roster.
Plus, you also have to factor in that there really is nothing more for Balor to do down in NXT. He’s been there for over a year, has been the longest reigning title holder in history and has beaten a myriad of stars along the way.
Finally, there is the huge elephant in the room of the Bullet Club presence on the main roster at the moment, and ever since we saw Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows show up a few months ago, it appeared that the writing on the wall was there signaling the imminent debut of Balor on the WWE main roster.
Only time will tell, of course, but when you really put it all into perspective, Wednesday night will more than likely be the last time that we see Finn Balor in an NXT ring.
