Rajon Rondo Rumors: Pelicans, Spurs and Bucks a free agent fit?
By Josh Hill
Could the Bucks, Pelicans or Spurs be a fit for Rajon Rondo in free agency?
With NBA free agency right around the corner, there are a handful of players we’re already looking at as far as where they will end up. Ramon Rondo isn’t what he used to be, as he’s a rough personality to assimilate into a locker room and is past his prime — but he’s still a very talented option on the market.
Howard Beck and Ric Bucher opined where they think Rondo could go and offered up some interesting options.
Bucher went with two picks, naming the Spurs and Bucks as options he could see Rondo rolling with. Of the two, San Antonio is the most intriguing of the options as the Spurs need to find a replacement plan for Tony Parker or at least someone who can carry some serious minutes during the season. There also might not be a better climate for Rondo to exist in and change his ways in the locker room.
Beck similarly has an interesting pick with the Pelicans as his choice.

New Orleans has money to burn and they have absolutely no hope at any position other than forward with Anthony Davis. Of course, this could just be a reprise of Rondo’s days in Sacramento where a bottom feeding team has an All-Star caliber big man but nothing else besides that.
The NBA landscape has changed since Rondo was once a desirable piece of a roster, and it’s going to be hard for him to find a winning team and get paid all at the same time this summer.
