Next: Who are the top Early pitching options on Saturday?

Jake Arrieta ($12,300) at Atlanta:Ā Arrieta is a massive favorite going up against one of the worst offenses in all of baseball and has averaged over 46 points per game over the last month. From a cash game perspective, Arrieta is the safest play on the board as a win should be easily attainable in this match-up against the Braves.
Arrieta has two 50+ point outing in his last 5 starts and with a small slate in the afternoon, there are very few options that have the ability to match the upside that Arrieta has on Saturday.
Chris Archer ($9,700) home versus Houston:Ā Archer is my favorite tournament option on Saturday afternoon as we get significant savings dropping down from Arrieta which will allow us the ability to spend on the Coors Field bats.
The Astros are the most strikeout prone team in all of MLB and Archer is coming off a 12 strikeout performance against Arizona in his last start.
Pitching Summary: Early āĀ In cash games locking in Arrieta is the safest choice to build your lineups around, however the issue with Arrieta is his price prohibits you from building a stack in Coors which has a combined team total of 12.5 runs. Archer is the top tournament option as he has the upside to match Arrieta while allowing you the cost savings to stack the Rockies bats.
Next: Who are the top hitters on Saturday afternoon?

Rockies versus Ā RHP Erik Johnson:Ā The Rockies have the highest team total on the board again Saturday and an all out stack of the Colorado offense is the clear top stack.
With the price points where they are, we saw reduced Ā ownership of the Rockies hitters on Friday evening and with many people opting to pay up for Arrieta on Saturday we could see this play out again.
Carlos Gonzalez ($4,400) and Charlie Blackmon ($4,300)Ā are the clear top hitters here butĀ Gerardo Parra ($3,500) & Trevor Story ($3,500) are both at bargain price points considering the matchup and hitting environment. Stack away gamers!
Salvador Perez ($2,400)Ā versus Jose Quintana:Ā My favorite bargain option on Saturday is the Royals catcher who has absolutelyĀ feasted on Quintana over his career.
Perez is 18 for 48 with 2 home runs off Quintana and with the money we want to spend in Colorado, this is a great spot to save money and get a high upside hitter on Saturday afternoon.
Hitting Summary:Ā With only 8 games on the afternoon slate, it is going to be a must to get some exposure to Coors with the projected runs expected to be scored. I would look to start with Parra/Story due to their price points and keep an eye on the lineup announcements to see if any further value opens up. Stacking the Rockies with Archer and then fitting in value bats will be my preferred course of action on this slate.
