Next: Who are the top Main pitching options on Saturday?

The main slate on Saturday night includes only 6 games which limits our options from a pitching perspective but there is one unquestioned ace that you should build your lineup around.
Jose Fernandez ($12,000) at Arizona:Ā The clear top dog on Saturday night is the Marlins Ace who has been a DFS monster over the last month, averaging over 61 points per start.
Fernandez has a ridiculous 37% K rate this season, striking out 110 batters in only 74 innings and goes up against an Arizona team that strikes out over 22% of the time.
The price point and the match-up in Chase Field may push gamers to other options, but there is no other pitcher on the Saturday slate who possesses the upside to match a hurler who is consistently putting up 60+ points per start.
Justin Verlander ($9,200) at New York Yankees:Ā The remaining pitching options on Saturday night are all in roughly the same price points which will allow for a variety of pivot plays if submitting multiple entries.
My favorite pivot play on Saturday night is Verlander, who has returned to the dominant form he has flashed throughout his career. Verlander is averaging 49.6 points per game which is good for 5.6x value at his current price point.
Verlander has 52 strikeouts over his last 6 starts (8.7 Kās/start) with no game under 7 strikeouts, so he has a relatively āsafeā floor in terms of output. The only downside is that Verlander is a slight road underdog going up against a tough pitcher in Masahiro Tanaka which puts the win at risk.
Next: Who are the top hitters on Saturday night?

All the top projected scoring teams are found on the early slate so I will look to target more individual match-ups or mini-stacks rather than full on stacks when approaching the Saturday main slate.
Marlins bats versus RHP Zach Godley:Ā The Diamondbacks will recall the Triple A pitcher on Saturday and with a game in Chase Field this makes the best place to find offense on Saturday night.
Godley in his brief career has shown reverse splits, giving up more hits/home runs to RHB but hitters from both sides of the plate are in play here.
Christian Yelich ($3,700)Ā is a top OF play with the platoon advantage in play butĀ Marcell Ozuna ($3,600)Ā is the hottest hitter on the team putting up over 10 points per game over the last two weeks.
Justin Bour ($2,800)Ā is a great value play at first base as he should be back in the lineup versus a RHP and has multi home run upside.
Jhonny Peralta ($2,400)Ā has stepped right back into the heart of the order for the Cardinals since his return and sits at a very reasonable price point at 3B.
Peralta is 18 for 53 with 4 home runs in his career against Francisco Liriano and makes for a top punt play when trying to fit in the Marlins bats/pitcher.
