Should the Golden State Warriors close out the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday night, it will cost suspended Draymond Green $500 to party with his teammates.

Though he will be suspended for Game 5 of the 2016 NBA Finals because of the on-court trash-talking incident with the Cleveland Cavaliers’ LeBron James in Game 4 on Friday night at Quicken Loans Arena, Golden State Warriors power forward Draymond Green can still party with his teammates should they close out Cleveland in Game 5.

While Green cannot play in Game 5 for Golden State or even sit on the bench with his teammates, he can pay the NBA a fine worth $500 to leave the Warriors’ locker room for the Oracle Arena hardwood to celebrate back-to-back NBA Championships on Monday night should he feel so inclined.

Given that Green is the vocal leader of this elite NBA team, no doubt he will be ready to party with his Warrior teammates on Monday night if they can end this best-of-seven series.

Green is allowed to party with his teammates despite being suspended because of Section IV of the NBA rule book, which states: “If a player, coach or assistant coach is suspended from a game or games, he shall not at any time before, during or after such game or games appear in any part of the arena or stands where his team is playing. A player, coach or assistant coach who is ejected may only remain in the dressing room of his team during the remainder of the game, or leave the building. A violation of this rule shall call for an automatic fine of $500.”

When the clock strikes zero and Golden State wins back-to-back NBA Championships, expect Green to toss up five Benjamins into the air and sprint towards the court to celebrate with his teammates. $500 is nothing when compared to winning a championship.
