FireKeepers Casino 400 2016: Official results

Here are the official results from the 2016 FireKeepers Casino 400 at Michigan International Speedway.

For the seventh time in seven weeks, there has been a different winner in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. On Sunday, the 2016 FireKeepers Casino 400 provided plenty of challenges to some of the best drivers in racing.

Early on, Martin Truex Jr. spun out and would crash hard. Not long after, Kyle Busch would blow an engine and see his day come to an end. Dale Earnhardt Jr. would hit the wall and would watch his chances go away. Late in the race Denny Hamlin would wreck hard.

The story of the day however, was Joey Logano winning his first race of the season from the pole. Once again he had Chase Elliott and Kyle Larson behind him battling with him. Logano would hold on for the win and he would pick up his first win of the season.

With the win, Logano is now on his way to the Chase to compete for a Sprint Cup Championship. With a big day in Michigan in the books, here are the official results from the 2016 FireKeepers Casino 400 at Michigan International Speedway.
