Identifying the top high salary and value second baseman plays from around Major League Baseball for your June 13 DraftKings lineup.

Our goal is to help you win DraftKings contests with consistently strong lineups. To accomplish that, we’ll be highlighting some higher salary players worth paying up for, and some value picks that will help you save salary in key areas. These picks are specifically for DraftKings lineups, so all references to prices and fantasy points are based on DK figures.

As always, be sure to double-check final MLB lineups and monitor weather situations before locking in your DFS lineups.

High Salary

Daniel Murphy, Nationals (4,800): Second base is certainly a position that you can save at on Monday, but if you’re going to pay up, Murphy is the best bet. He’s only 1-for-8 in his career against Chicago Cubs starter Kyle Hendricks, but he’s still hitting .386 with all 11 of his home runs against right-handers this season.

Jean Segura, Diamondbacks (4,000): Arizona’s speedy leadoff hitter has six hits over his last four games and is 5-for-8 with a pair of triples in his career against Los Angeles Dodgers right-hander Mike Bolsinger (1-3, 5.75 ERA). Segura doesn’t boast tremendous power, but he doesn’t need it to produce solid fantasy performances.

High Value

Chase Utley, Dodgers (3,200): Utley draws a matchup with Diamondbacks ace Zack Greinke on Monday, so he’s probably better viewed as a GPP play. But Utley’s career numbers against Greinke (4-for-12, three extra-base hits) are solid enough to warrant serious consideration. He’s cheap enough to find his way into some GPP lineups.

Jace Peterson, Braves (3,100): Peterson spent nearly the entire season in the majors with the Braves in 2015, but he had an extended stay in Triple-A this season. In the two games he’s played since being called back up, the lefty-hitting Peterson has three hits and three runs scored. He’s an intriguing play Monday against Cincinnati Reds righty Daniel Wright (0-2, 7.20 ERA).
