Florida State Seminoles vs. Florida Gators

Seven of the eight spots in the College World Series have been taken up with teams having punched their tickets. Now it’ll be two in-state rivals battling it out in a winner-take-all matchup on Monday night from Alfred A. McKethan Stadium in Gainesville in the NCAA Baseball Super Regionals. With the stakes being that high, Florida State vs. Florida Game 3 in the Super Regionals is going to be one of those games you won’t want to miss out on.

While the Seminoles were able to shut down the Gators in Game 1 of their series, it was the tables being turned on Sunday night in Game 2 as Florida shut Florida State out. Now we’ll have to see if it’ll again come down to FSU getting in a pitching duel with one of the best staffs in the country or if things will go wild in Game 3 and a hit parade will ensue. Who knows, but a trip to the College World Series hangs in the balance.
