The 116th US Open kicks off on Thursday, as Jordan Spieth looks to make it back-to-back championships.  Here is the schedule of events.

Last year, 21-year-old Jordan Spieth became the youngest golfer to win the U.S. Open since Bobby Jones won it in 1923. With his collapse at this year’s Masters in the rear view mirror, Spieth will have  to navigate a very tough golf course if he hopes to bring home the title this year.

This year’s U.S. Open will be played at the famed Oakmont Country Club, a golf course that baffled golfers when it hosted the event in 2007. That year, Angel Cabrera outlasted Tiger Woods and Jim Furyk, winning by one stroke. In his final round, Cabrera shot a 1-under par 69, as he was one of only two golfers to shoot under-par that day.

2016 will be the eighth time Oakmont has hosted the US Open, and its 15th USGA Championship overall. The rough and greens could make this the hardest US Open in history. With that being said, here is a list at this week’s schedule of events. Note: All times are ET.

Practice Rounds

Golfers will be playing their practice rounds from Monday through Wednesday, with gates opening at 6 a.m. Typically, golfers will be on the course until 7 p.m., though those choosing to play a full round usually do it between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m..  Golfers will be able to start on either the first or 10th tee.

Championship Rounds 1 and 2

Play is scheduled to begin at 6:45 a.m. on Thursday, June 16, with players starting on the first and 10th tees. The last group will begin play at 2:42 p.m., also from the first and 10th tee. Denny McCarthy, Aron Price and Mikael Lundberg will begin play at the first tee at 6:45 a.m., with Andres Gonzales, Scottie Scheffler (amateur) and Derek Fathauer teeing off at the 10th.

Gates will open at 6 a.m. and will close at the conclusion of play.

First and second round coverage will air on FS1 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. before FOX picks up the coverage from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Championship Rounds 3 and 4

During these rounds, the starting times will be determined by the number of players who make the cut in Rounds 1 and 2. In general, these rounds usually begin between 8-9 a.m., with the last pairing  going off around 3 p.m.

Gates will open at 6 a.m. and will close at the conclusion of play.

Third and fourth round coverage will air on FOX from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Playoff

If the tournament goes to a playoff after 72 holes, an 18-hole playoff will be held on Monday, June 20. The playoff will begin at approximately noon, with gates opening at 9:30 a.m.

Oakmont Country Club was founded in 1903 by industrialist Henry Clay Fownes, and was the first golf course to become a National Historic Landmark.
