Before the game took place, the Warriors decided to pay tribute to their forward by leaving his spot in the lineup open during the National Anthem.

It’s a heavy tribute by the Warriors to one of their star players, but they wouldn’t be where they are at on the floor without him. Green triggered a suspension after his shot to the groin of James was assessed a Flagrant 1, which put him over the edge for flagrant points in the postseason.

This led to a war of words between the two teams. While Green will be able to celebrate with the team if they win Game 5, it’s one of the more strange suspensions in the history of the NBA.

That’s why the Warriors saw fit to letting everyone know what they think of their forward.
