Golden State Warriors owner Joe Lacob decided to wear a Draymond Green jersey to Game 5 of the NBA Finals.
The Golden State Warriors went into Game 5 of the NBA Finals with a chance to win a championship. They also went in with a massive chip on their shoulders, as forward Draymond Green was suspended for the game because of an incident with LeBron James in Game 4.
The decision to suspend Green because he hit the limit on flagrant fouls caused many to be upset with the league’s decision and the Warriors before the game left Green’s spot open in the lineup during the National Anthem.
Owner Joe Lacob was also showing his support for Green at the game. HE arrived to the game wearing Green’s jersey and it caught the attention of everyone.
The Warriors are a close group and it’s cool to see a team standing by their star player during a big moment. The Warriors have a chance to win a championship, but they know it’s not the same as having Green out their with them on the floor.
Needless to say, Lacob was not the only one at the Oracle Arena that was sporting a Green jersey on Monday night.
