If the Kings want to land their true point guard of the future in the 2016 NBA Draft, Kris Dunn is the guy who they need to be heavily targeting. An impressive scorer, distributor and defender who has a nice blend of proven ability and upside, Dunn is the clear top point guard prospect in this draft class.

Similarly to Brown, if the Kings expect to land Dunn on draft night, they are going to have to make him a priority in a trade up scenario. Dunn is arguably the third-best prospect in this class behind Ben Simmons and Brandon Ingram, and is a true threat to go inside the top five.

Dunn couples great size and length (6-foot-4 with a 6-foot-10 wingspan) with an impressive athleticism that he has shown the ability to control. Unlike a raw prospect like Brown, Dunn has proved that he can make consistent plays offensively and can use his athleticism effectively.

He is not a knock-down shooter, but Dunn has improved his ability to hit the outside shot in recent years. I doubt he ever becomes and elite three-point shooter, but he will always be a threat to knock down a shot.

Dunn is however a great ball handler who shows fantastic natural quickness and athleticism with the ball in his hands. He can drive and make plays at the hoop as well as any prospect in this draft class, and also sets up his teammates extremely well.

Defensively, Dunn is a high-level man-to-man defender on the perimeter who already shows a defensive savvy that is rarely seen in college players. His combination of length, quickness and athleticism gives him elite defensive upside at the NBA level.

An extremely exciting prospect who could come in and lead the Kings on both sides of the ball at the point guard position, Dunn is a guy who the franchise would not regret trading up and making their guy.

With multiple teams in the top five looking to move their picks, the Kings should not have an issue getting an opportunity to land Dunn if that is the direction that they want to go.
