FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy baseball lineup-June 14
Major League Baseball has 14 games on the schedule tonight, and you can get your DFS fantasy baseball team assembled with the help of my FanDuel daily picks.
After a matinee between the Blue Jays and the Phillies at 12:37, the MLB has the other 28 teams taking the field tonight in 14 games across the country. As you start assembling your roster for this evening’s DFS contests, make sure to check out my FanDuel daily picks on the following slides to see the players that I think are set up for success tonight.
More from Boston Red Sox
- MLB Trade Grades: Dodgers reunite with familiar face in Red Sox deal
- MLB Rumors: Braves trade package, White Sox-Reds deal, Mets disaster
- Former Red Sox slugger has surprising criticism for Manny Ramirez’s son
- Alex Cora delivers trade deadline ultimatum for Red Sox front office
- MLB standings ordered by hard hit rate: Struggling Cardinals still cracking bats
The first set of games starts at 7:05 and 7:10 PM ET tonight including the second game of a possible NLCS preview between the Cubs and Nats. The other early games include the Rays hosting the Mariners, the Braves and Reds trying to dodge the raindrops in Atlanta, the Mets hosting the Pirates, and the Red Sox welcoming the Orioles to Fenway in an AL East showdown. At 8:10, AL Central foes meet in Chicago and Kansas City as the Tigers and White Sox face off while the Royals host the Indians in another pair of games both threatened by weather. The other starts around 8:00 feature the Yankees visiting Coors Field and the Cardinals hosting the Astros. In the West Coast wave of games the Dodgers take on the D-Backs, the A’s host the Rangers, the Angels host the Twins, and the Marlins hit SoCal to take on the Padres. Weather for the late games looks good, so just be careful if you decide to go with players from the Royals, Indians, White Sox, Tigers, Braves, or Reds. I’m not saying their must-avoids, but just make sure to check back before game time to avoid the delays.
As we continue into the dog days of summer with my full fantasy baseball coverage, my FanDuel daily picks will be posted each morning here at FanSided. My picks are designed to provide you the information you need to build your own lineup that can bring home a win for your team. In order to help you find the position and price-point that you need, there are a variety of options on each slide with high-salary options, mid-range options, and high-value options at each position. For starting pitchers and outfielders, I’ve separated my picks into high-salary and high-value options on separate slides while the other positions each get one slide per position with multiple pricing options. I base each of my picks on the current form of each player and the matchups each player will face in tonight’s contest game.
In my daily basketball picks, it was very helpful to rank my picks every morning using stars after each selection to show the strength of the pick. I’ll continue that rating system as I move over to cover fantasy baseball. For a full explanation of the rating system, check out the last slide of this post, but in short, more stars means more confidence (on a point-per-dollar basis). Also on the final slide of the post, you can see how I’m putting together the my most confident picks into my lineups for today’s competition. I suggest you build your own customized team with the players you like the most, but you’re welcome to check out my lineups and use them as a place to get started.
In my FanDuel daily picks, all salary references and references to “fantasy points” refer to FanDuel pricing and scoring. If you are looking for similar coverage specifically for DraftKings, check the box above for related posts or find the latest on the fantasy baseball hub.
If you have any questions about my picks for today or any of our FanSided fantasy coverage, you can leave them at the bottom of the page in the comments section. For an even quicker response, you can find me throughout the day on Twitter @FansidedFantasy. Make sure to follow on Twitter for any late-breaking lineup news as well and any adjustments as lineups come out throughout this Tuesday.
If you find my picks and analysis helpful and would like to check out my DFS fantasy baseball posts each morning, the easiest way to find the FanDuel daily picks is to drop a bookmark on our fantasy baseball hub or follow on Twitter where I’ll tweet out the links each day when my picks go live.
