Euro 2016: England, Russia fan violence flares up again (Video)

England and Russia supporters continued their fan violence in Lille as both countries could face further action from EUFA for their Euro 2016 displays.

Both England and Russia were handed warnings from UEFA about potential tournament suspensions if their supporters continued to act up at the Euro 2016 tournament in France. A warning that fans of both countries ignored on Wednesday as more violence between the two sets of supporters flared up in between Russia and England’s group stage matches in Lille.

After UEFA fined Russia $150,000 for their fan violence inside and outside the stadium on the weekend during their match with England, both countries couldn’t control themselves with a chance to get up to trouble. Reports of pepper spray being used by the police to control the fans who are once again acting up in France as two countries with long reputations for hooliganism are turning the tournament into an ugly scene.

Former EPL star striker and current English broadcaster Stan Collymore uploaded a Periscope video of the trouble brewing in Lille that could lead to potential bans from the tournament for both countries if UEFA come down harshly on the second night of violence.

As previously mentioned, both Russia and England are under warning from UEFA that they both could be suspended from the tournament in the wake of further fan violence which makes these skirmishes between the two sides even more intriguing. With England waiting for their match tomorrow against Wales, there should be plenty of drama as the world awaits the aftermath of more problems between the English and the Russians in France. An aftermath that could include potential tournament bans and automatic qualification into the group stage for Slovakia and Wales if things continue to flare up in Lille.
