One of the best off-the-court stories to come out of the NBA Finals thus far has been the deal between Turner Sports and ESPN, which allowed Turner Sports sideline reporter Craig Sager to work his first NBA Finals.

With Sager set to receive the Jimmy V. Award at the ESPY’s soon for his courageous fight against cancer, it was only fitting that the best dressed reporter of all time got to work a finals game during his career.

As Sager was sitting during a timeout in action, the crowd in Cleveland gave him a standing ovation, as he was shown on the giant videoboard.

Sager would reciprocate the warm greeting with the crowd with a wave and a thank you. His fight against cancer has shown what true strength is all about and he has moved many by the way he has handled his battle.

To see the crowd give him the ovation that he has rightfully earned is even better and much deserved for one of the best ever.
