The Cleveland Cavaliers are dominating the Golden State Warriors. Again. Honestly, it doesn’t make a lot of sense. The Warriors won 73 games this season, have dominated the Cavaliers when Draymond Green is playing and seemed in great position to win their second consecutive NBA title on Thursday night in Cleveland. Then LeBron James and J.R. Smith happened.
No seriously, LeBron and J.R. both are playing well in the middle of the third quarter as the Cavs are up big. Most importantly they connected for a really impressive alley-oop to extend the Cavaliers lead out to 26.

There are a few things that really need to be pointed out on this play.

First is that in a potential elimination game with his team up big J.R. Smith was risking a big swing in the game by throwing a no look, over his shoulder alley-oop instead of taking a layup.
Second is, OH MY GOD LOOK AT HOW HIGH LEBRON JAMES JUMPS!!! That isn’t a human thing to do. It should not be that easy to get your face to the rim, especially when you are built like a freight train like LeBron James. It makes no sense at all. It is terrifying and also incredible.
What happens in Game 7 on Sunday remains to be seen but the right now the Cavs have to be feeling great about things.
