If the Cleveland Cavaliers are going to force a Game 7 in the NBA Finals, it’s going to take everyone on the Cavaliers stepping up and doing their part at home. That means that guard J.R. Smith is going to need to have a big night at home for Cleveland.

Regardless of what happens on Thursday night, one person that is proud of Smith is his daughter, Demi Smith. Before Game 6 of the NBA Finals, SportsCenter interviewed his family and his daughter kept it real about her dad.

When asked what it was like to watch her dad play in the NBA Finals, she responded that she was proud to see him make it this far without getting kicked off the team.

There isn’t a better answer to summarize what it is like to watch Smith once again make it to the NBA Finals and it is clear that his daughter knows what’s up.

Most children would be beyond ecstatic in this situation, but his daughter sees the big picture of the situation going on here.
