Steph Curry fouled out for the first time since December and expressed his frustration by throwing his mouthpiece into the crowd.

It was not a good night for the Golden State Warriors. While they showed signs of a possible comeback throughout Game 6, the Cleveland Cavaliers led wire to wire to force a seventh game.

Game 6 was also the game where LeBron James practically clinched the Finals MVP, with his second straight 41-point game. The entire Warriors team was ticked off, to be sure, but Curry was the one who was fired up the most, since he fouled out of the game minutes later:

He was assessed a technical foul and expressed his frustration by throwing his mouthpiece at a fan before heading to the locker room. Curry had a great game up until that point as he scored 30 points, but this is all anyone will be talking about.

Throughout the season, Steph Curry was the one garnering all the headlines en route to a unanimous MVP campaign, but after this series, it’s LeBron James who is once again getting all the recognition as the best player in the NBA.

It’s vital that Steph keeps a cool head in Game 7, as he was clearly rattled by LeBron’s virtuoso performance tonight. But even if the Warriors win Game 7, this is still LeBron’s league until further notice.
