Welcome back to the BAE Index.

Few and far between expected LeBron to repeat his Game 5 brilliance last night, but he did. He is LeBron James after all. LeBron scored 41 on 16-27 shooting, including 3-6 from deep, snagged eight boards and dished out 11 assists. His defense was tremendous as well, racking up three steals and three blocks as well. Again, he led the Cavaliers to victory in an elimination game, and for that, the BAE Index is dedicated to him.

Cleveland opened up Game 6 with an 8-0 run, including this impressive two-handed, tomahawk jam.

James threw down some furious dunks in this game, and this beauty is certainly no exception.

LeBron James hits Tristan Thompson with the perfect pocket pass

LeBron’s one of the greatest passers in NBA history. His vision and knack for making seemingly impossible passes make him one hell of a showman and playmaker. Take this here possession for instance. Off the Thompson pick, both Festus Ezeli and Andre Iguodala swarm to LeBron. James makes a slick bounce pass between the two defenders for an easy dunk.

And here’s another pass to Thompson.

This lob is perfect, barely arcing over Draymond Green’s outstretched arms and into Tristan Thompson’s hands for the dunk.

J.R. Smith does his best Dwyane Wade impression on this alley-oop with LeBron

This is just flat out absurd. Earl Smith Jr. throws a pass behind his head without even looking. Luckily, LeBron is sprinting at full speed, catches the ball above the rim and rest is, well, incredible.

LeBron denies any chance of Steph Curry finishing this layup

Steph Curry is an elite NBA scorer, in case you hadn’t noticed. That means nothing to LeBron, apparently. Late in the game, Steph drives past James, but it’s almost as if LeBron had baited him into doing it. ‘Bron waits and waits and waits for Curry to pump fake and finally try to score, then slaps the ball into the floor. To add insult to injury, LeBron hits Steph with the biggest smirk I think I’ve ever seen.
