1. DeMarcus Cousins

It seems like there have been rumors for a while now involving the Lakers and Cousins. The Lakers have always won with big performances from the center position, and seeing the Dwight Howard experiment fail, they need to hit again with a big man.

For the Kings, they have to eventually put Cousins on the block. It seems as though they are changing their opinion of him every week, which is just slightly more often than they change their head coach and front office members. Cousins has played with nine different starting point guards since being drafted and you can sense his frustrations.

What better time than when they can add the number two pick and a group of players. The Lakers will have to include Randle for Cousins as well as the second pick, but they are getting arguably the top center in the NBA.

If they are able to keep Russell they will have the perfect inside-out scoring game and it should be turning them into an immediate threat. While Cousins has some attitude issues, they seem tied to being on a dysfunctional team. At the end of the day he should still be able to help find free agents, therefore it would be well worth the cost.
