Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry jokes he might have to cut off the WiFi to silence his wife.
Steph Curry is trying to lead the Golden State Warriors to their second consecutive NBA championship, but after racing out to a 3-1 lead the Bay Area team finds themselves in a Game 7 situation. Curry’s wife Ayesha took to Twitter recently to claim the NBA was rigging the NBA Finals to draw it out and keep the Cavaliers active.
That comment drew a lot of backlash from fans and reporters, looking at you Stephen A. Smith, but Curry said it is not distracting him. He also said he has a plan on how to handle the situation.
“Nothing is going to distract me … I might have to cut the wifi off at my house though,” Curry said.
Don’t believe he said it? Check the tape below.
You have to think Curry is going to have an unpleasant conversation about putting his wife essentially on blast with this comment, but she is becoming a distraction and one of the biggest storylines of the series whether it is distracting Curry or not.
But you think that Curry would not be taking a measure like that if it wasn’t a distraction.
Now only if Curry could convince everyone that @RileyCurry is not his daughter, but a grown man.
