After a rough loss in Game 7, the Golden State Warriors congratulated the Cavaliers and the city of Cleveland
Well, to say that the 2016 NBA Finals was one of the better ones that we have ever seen might be an understatement. However, on Sunday night it all came to a close with one of the more thrilling Game Sevens that we have ever seen. And when it was all said and done, what some might call the impossible happened, as LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers walked away the champions.
Now, of course, this was an especially heartbreaking loss for the Warriors, as they were up 3-1 in this series at one point after the greatest regular season in history and they ended up coming away without the title, which would have been their second in a row.
After the game on Sunday, though, the Warriors were nice enough to congratulate the Cavaliers and the entire city of Cleveland on Twitter.
That was a classy move by the Warriors’ social media team, after one of the more heartbreaking moments in the history of your franchise, that’s one of the last things that you want to do.
But, with this performance by the Cavaliers in this series, you have to give credit where the credit is due.
