LeBron James pulled off another one of his signature transition blocks, this time swatting Stephen Curry’s weak layup and the proceeds to talk trash.

LeBron James clearly doesn’t like that Stephen Curry won a unanimous MVP Award in 2015-16. That was the first time it has happened in NBA history and James has been taking it to Curry for much of the 2016 NBA Finals.

At the 5:10 mark in the second quarter of deciding Game 7 of the 2016 NBA Finals, Curry tries a fast break layup attempt on an unsettled Cleveland defense up 35-33. Then all the sudden, James comes up from behind to swat Curry’s mediocre layup attempt off the glass. James would then jaw at Curry for his weak shot attempt.

James has easily been the best player in these 2016 NBA Finals. Many would argue that regardless of the outcome in Game 7 that James will wind up winning 2016 NBA Finals MVP for his sensational efforts in this best-of-seven series.

However, James will need at least one of his Cleveland teammates to step and play at a high level to have a legitimate shot of upsetting juggernaut Golden State on the Warriors’ home court in Game 7.

Otherwise, James will almost certainly have to put up his third 40-point game of these NBA Finals to give Cleveland its first professional championship since the NFL’s Cleveland Browns won the 1964 NFL Championship.
