NBA Finals Game 7: LeBron James brings down the house with jam (Video)
By John Buhler
LeBron James continues to have a fantastic 2016 NBA Finals, as he throws down a monstrous jam late in the first quarter of pivotal Game 7 at Oracle Arena.
For the Cleveland Cavaliers to do the seemingly impossible, star point forward Lebron James will again have to carry his hometown team in win-or-go-home Game 7 on the road at Oracle Arena against the Western Conference Champion Golden State Warriors.
At the 3:17 mark in the first quarter of Game 7, James pulls off a give and go from the perimeter with wing J.R. Smith. Warriors star point guard Stephen Curry manages to get a hand of the pass from Smith, but James was able to come up with it for an earth-shattering slam to tie the game up at 16 apiece.
James has been able to get whatever he wants in the paint against a depleted Warriors front court. Golden State has been playing a man down at center, as the Warriors starting center Andrew Bogut has been ruled out for the final two games of the 2016 NBA Finals with a knee injury suffered late in Game 5.
James may have already sealed a NBA Finals MVP designation with back-to-back 40-point efforts in Games 5 and 6. In both of those games, Cleveland was facing elimination. Should the Cavaliers pull off the road upset, Cleveland would end a 51-year city title drought and be the first team to win an NBA Finals down 3-1.
