Cleveland fans show up in droves at airport to welcome Cavs (Video)

Cavaliers fans showed up in massive numbers to welcome team home at airport.

The Cleveland Cavaliers ended a 52-year title drought for the Ohio city when they defeated the Golden State Warriors in Game 7 of the NBA Finals. Expectedly, the Cleveland fans are ecstatic and celebrating like crazy.

That includes at the airport where fans flooded the area during a Cavs arrival party. There are people who have gone their whole lives without seeing a Cleveland championship, and they’re making sure to witness this one.

There might not be a fanbase that is more deserving of a championship, and they are celebrating just like you thought they would. While the fans waited for the Cavaliers to land and get off the plane, they even replayed the last two minutes of the game for the crowd that was waiting.

ESPN is even broadcasting the Cavs’ arrival on television, and this is undoubtedly a major sporting event outside of Cleveland as well.
