Roman Reigns was suspended by WWE on Tuesday, but the effects go one step further.
Update: They have since changed the image to the WWE logo.
On Tuesday, WWE shockingly announced that Roman Reigns was suspended for violating the company’s talent Wellness Policy. Given this is his first violation, the suspension will last for 30 days.
Reigns is coming off losing the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view. There is no word if this caused him to lose the title. He was placed in the WWE Battleground main event the next night on Raw, which takes place on July 24, three days after the suspension ends.
WWE strictly enforces their talent wellness policy, as they try to create a good image for their employees. Of course, to create this, the company would want to put their top stars at the forefront. Ironically, a photo of Reigns can be seen on WWE’s Wellness Policy corporate page, which isn’t going to help matters.

So, that’s not a good thing.
It wouldn’t be surprising to see WWE remove Reigns’ photo from the front of this corporate page. The Big Dog was being made into the next face of WWE, so it’s not shocking to see him on there in the first place. However, leaving a violator of the company’s Wellness Policy on there isn’t the best for public relations, so an image of someone like John Cena could go up there.
The Roman Reigns suspension is continuing to unfold, with more sure to come on this situation.
