Do accessorize.

Last year, Willie Cauley-Stein shocked the NBA as the Sacramento King’s sixth overall pick, about five positions earlier than expected on most mock drafts. But despite his positioning, Cauley-Stein was memorable more so for his gold chain accessory. Granted, a gold peace-sign medallion can only really be pulled off with the matching neck tattoo. Still, Cauley-Stein showed the step that can often be missed en route to the runway —  accessories.

As far as accessories go, the chain isn’t a bad idea. Just look at this outfit from Instagram star and fashion model, Luka Sabbat. Not only is Sabbat stunting in two black jackets, but he’s paired the “vampire vibes” with a set of three necklaces. Might not be a bad vibe to copycat with Adam Silver. Last year, Towns opted out of his necktie for a silver chain. You don’t have to look like a Westerosi Maester out there, just consider some jewelry —  a couple rings or a thin chain.

The other favorite male fashion accessory is, of course, the wristwatch. And my only warning is to match with your shoes and the width of your wrist. A mismatched band or an oversized watch can sink an otherwise great get-up. Don’t come out with a Target/Timex Weekender, leave the Fitbit at home, and don’t drag an oversized house arrest bracelet onto the stage.
