Icelandic commentator was very excited when his country qualified for the knockout stages of Euro 2016.

If you’re from a country of 300,000 people and defied the odds and made it all the way to Euro 2016 – your first ever major tournament – you too would be happy. How about if your country actually won a game and even managed to finish ahead of a nation like Portugal and qualify for the next round? What would you do?

Well this Icelandic commentator from Iceland’s sports station, Sjónvarp Símans, went a little berserk when his team was able to seal a victory over another group favorite Austria in extra time.

When Iceland’s Arnor Ingvi Traustason scored in the 94th minute to seal three points for his country, the announcer began to not hold back his emotions. It sounds hilarious, but c’mon, wouldn’t you do the same if you were put in his shoes?

Iceland finished in second in Group F with five points, and will take on England on Monday June 27th at 3 EST.

This was Iceland’s first win at a major tournament, after drawing in their previous two matches against Portugal and Hungary. They will be followed by both clubs to the knockout stages, as Portugal was unable to grab a win over first placed Hungary.

Iceland’s historic run to Euro 2016 was amazing. They have many fans from all over cheering for them, as they are the smallest nation in this years tournament.

The stellar play of keeper Hannes Thór Halldórsson (yes his name is Thor) who has given up only three goals in three games, Traustason and Emil Hallfredsson have played key parts for this team, but this has been a team effort for Iceland. Each player has played a key role in their nation’s success. This Icelandic team will undoubtedly go down in European Championship history.
