2016 NBA Mock Draft: Draft day!

Patrick McCaw . 24. player. 93. The Philadelphia 76ers have a slew of bigs, especially after selecting Ben Simmons with the No. 1 overall pick in the draft. It’s likely that Jahlil Okafor and/or Nerlens Noel could be on the move to bring in some guard firepower, however they should look at some of the wings in this draft with these last two picks. First, Patrick McCaw.
McCaw is a true “3-and-D” prospect with extreme potential at the next level. The 20-year old put up 14.7 points, 5.1 rebounds and 2.5 steals during a hectic season at UNLV, flashing a lot of his upside for scouts to see. The Runnin’ Rebels let McCaw run the point some last season and he was quite successful finishing with an assist rate of 22.7 — impressive considering McCaw is 6-7 and primarily plays the off guard position. Could he eventually run some combo guard in the NBA? That’s a huge plus if the answer is yes.

Again, the Sixers have a plethora of needs and help on the wings is paramount among them. McCaw could help fill a void and provide depth behind Robert Covington and Jerami Grant next season. If they deem he needs additional polish, they have a D-League affiliate in Delaware where Patrick could improve and contribute later down the road.

To read more about Patrick McCaw, <a href=.
