2. With Celtics for No. 3 Pick

Perhaps the most ideal situation for the 76ers in this draft would be the team being able to make a deal with some other team to where they acquire another first round pick and potentially a lottery pick. Though they have little leverage given that it’s widely known that they want to trade both guys, that they’d be willing to deal both Nerlens Noel and Jahlil Okafor makes that seem a bit easier.

However, the other team in the upper-lottery that has made no secret about looking for a trade is the Boston Celtics. The Celtics are in a position where they have so many picks and enough talent on their roster that they are more looking to make a big splash and a bit move with assets like the No. 3 pick rather than having to make a tough decision at No. 3. However, the real question is whether or not the Celtics would part with the No. 3 pick for Noel, Okafor, or even both in some sort of larger package.

What could be more interesting, though, would be to see the 76ers trade for multiple Celtics picks, in a deal that would land Philly No. 3 and then an asset like a Marcus Smart or someone in a trade that would include No. 1 overall. It might be a bit pie-in-the-sky just knowing how these two teams think, but it’s not wholly illogical for either team at all.
