The Boston Celtics have arguably been at the forefront of this. It started with their first pick in the first round when they took Jaylen Brown with the No. 3 pick and the disappointment continued throughout with the selections of Guerschon Yabusele and Ante Zizic.
Well, Celtics fans have reacted, and they’re clearly not happy with what they have seen from general manager Danny Ainge.
To everyone overreacting at the Celtics picks, did you not see this coming? Ainge gets the picks but is bad at the talent evaluation part.

To top it off, fans in attendance at the NBA Draft are not happy either.
This was expected to be a big draft for the Celtics, especially with the No. 3 pick coming from the Brooklyn Nets. Brown was regarded as one of the top players in the draft, but it seemed like Kris Dunn was going to go with this selection. The other option seemed to be a trade, which did not happen either.
The international big men are likely being criticized by Celtics fans because fans have never heard of them. Yabusele and Zizic are most likely going to be players stashed overseas, meaning they won’t be seen for a few years. Given that Boston is one of the top teams in the Eastern Conference, fans may have wanted players who can help the team immediately too.
So time will tell if these picks for the Boston Celtics will work out. However, fans may not be willing to wait.
