Michigan State Spartans star Denzel Valentine is rocking some interesting, albeit rad green and white socks with a caricature of himself on the pair.

Michigan State Spartans star guard Denzel Valentine is surely going in the first round of the 2016 NBA Draft after a stellar collegiate career playing for Tom Izzo in East Lansing. In 2015, Valentine was a huge reason behind the Spartans’ surprising trip to the Final Four as a No. 7 seed.

Valentine is Michigan State to the core and will be a solid pro in the back court for somebody as a late lottery pick to mid-first round draft selection. His sock game is also very much on point on Thursday night’s NBA Draft at Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

The Michigan State star is seen rocking a pair of custom-made green and white striped socks, with an obvious homage to his glorious collegiate basketball program. They even have matching caricatures of his famous East Lansing face on them!

Some people might read between the lines in thinking that Valentine is rocking these green and white socks thinking that he’s going to either the Boston Celtics or the Milwaukee Bucks, but Valentine just loves his alma mater that much.

While Brandon Ingram clearly has the best jacket of anybody in the green room at the Barclays Center in the 2016 NBA Draft because it is made entirely out of rattlesnakes, Valentine’s socks are certainly noteworthy because they have his mug on them.
