Golden State Warriors: Stephen Curry, No. 7 2009 NBA Draft
Despite having played just seven seasons in the league, Stephen Curry has already become one of the greatest Golden State Warriors players in franchise history. Taken with the seventh overall pick in the 2009 NBA Draft, Curry struggled with injuries and his role with the team in the beginning of his career. Given a larger role under former head coach Mark Jackson after a trade of Monta Ellis, Curry broke out in 2012, scoring 54 points against the Knicks in Madison Square Garden and setting an NBA record for made 3-point attempts with 272.
Curry was named to his first All-Star team the following season, and has played on the All-Star team each season since then. Curry has lead the league in made 3-point attempts for four consecutive seasons, eclipsing his own record for makes the last two seasons, including a monumental 402 made 3-point attempts in the 2015-16 season. Curry became the first player in league history to be an unanimous MVP in 2016, the second time he has earned that award. He has already lead his team to an NBA championship and broken a slew of records. His career may not even be halfway completed, and he is already a Hall of Fame player.
