After his hit-and-run crash, Johnny Manziel immediately decided to spend some money on drug paraphernalia

The saga of Johnny Manziel always seems to get stranger and stranger, and on Friday it all took another big turn. This time, however, it wasn’t just Manziel that was involved, it was his lawyer, who “accidentally” texted the Associated Press with some information that he probably didn’t want people to know.

In the errant text, the lawyer for Manziel not only noted that his client is seeking a plea agreement in his domestic violence case, but something else in regards to his recent hit-and-run crash and what the former Browns quarterback did afterwards.

Manziel’s lawyer expressed some concern about Johnny remaining clean, and as he was doing that, it was noted that he saw proof his client spent over $1,000 at a drug paraphernalia store just 15 hours after the hit-and-run incident took place. So, yeah, you can clearly see where there would be some concern about Johnny Football staying on the straight and narrow when it comes to drugs and alcohol.

While this was information that probably was not supposed to get out here on this June Friday, the fact is that it is now out there for public consumption, and we’re once again all reminded just how far Manziel keeps on falling. He’s still going down that slippery slope, and while he has not completely hit rock bottom yet, he’s certainly very close to getting to that point — sadly.
