Is Taylor Swift really naked in ‘Famous’ video?

Kanye West released his music video for ‘Famous’ and it has everyone talking about exactly what he wanted.

The release of the music video for Kanye’s ‘Famous’ was released this weekend and it has the internet buzzing like mad. The video, which is pure Yeezus hipster-ness in all of it’s VCR camera glory, features nothing other than slow panning shots of Kanye laying bed sleeping with naked celebrities like Chris Brown, Donald Trump, Caitlyn Jenner and Taylor Swift.

Yup, Taylor Swift.

Just like when the song came out and featured a line about how Kanye made Taylor famous, people are freeze framing and cross examining the video with photos of Taylor to see if it’s really her laying naked in bed with Kanye in his video.

Is Taylor Swift really naked in ‘Famous’?

Yes and no — mostly no.

Yes, Taylor Swift is naked in ‘Famous. No, it’s not actually T-Swizzle.

While it’s possible that Taylor decided to nude it up in a Kanye West video, it’s far more realistic and logical that she wouldn’t. Taylor is an artist just like Kanye and her freedom of expression could very well include her pairing her artistry with Kanye and being a part of this performance art.

But it’s much more likely that it’s a body double because Taylor Swift doubles are everywhere these days.

It’s also not out of the realm of possibility that wax figures were created for this video. In fact, it’s the most realistic solution here. It’s even something that Chris Brown alluded to when confirming (maybe not though because performance art?) that he wasn’t in the video.

Either way, Kanye has once again done the thing that he does best. He’s surged out of nowhere to get the entire internet talking about him and his art. Is it art? Is Taylor Swift naked? Should we even care? Is this the most pretentious or most brilliant thing ever?

Or is it pretentiously brilliant?

Dammit, Kanye.
