Identifying the top high salary and value outfielder plays from around Major League Baseball for your June 27 DraftKings lineup.

Our goal is to help you win DraftKings contests with consistently strong lineups. To accomplish that, we’ll be highlighting some higher salary players worth paying up for, and some value picks that will help you save salary in key areas. These picks are specifically for DraftKings lineups, so all references to prices and fantasy points are based on DK figures.

As always, be sure to double-check final MLB lineups and monitor weather situations before locking in your DFS lineups.

High Salary

Carlos Gonzalez, Rockies (5,300): Let’s run through the “CarGo” check list, shall we? Is he playing at home, where he’s hitting .343 this season? Yes. Is he facing a right-hander (.343 vs. RHPs this season)? You bet. Is he hot? Of course (six hits in last four games). Gonzalez is an elite play Monday against Toronto right-hander Marco Estrada (5-3, 2.70 ERA).

Michael Saunders, Blue Jays (4,900): Any time you put two potent lineups together, like the Blue Jays and Rockies, it’s sure to lead to fantasy goodness. That’s especially true when the matchup is set for Coors Field. Saunders is hitting .299 with nine of his 15 home runs against righties this season, so he’s a strong play against Jon Gray (4-3, 4.80 ERA).

High Value

Nomar Mazara, Rangers (3,400): After hitting seven home runs in May, Mazara has hit just two in June. That’s certainly disappointing, but he still continues to have value in Texas’ potent offense. He’s hit safely in five of his last seven games, but he’s also scored a run in four of those games. Mazara is hitting an even .300 against righties this season, making Monday’s matchup with New York Yankees starter Ivan Nova (5-5, 5.18 ERA) an attractive one.

Nick Markakis, Braves (2,900): Markakis has two hits in each of his last four games, and has hit safely in 11 of his last 12 games overall. His home-run power has all but vanished since arriving in Atlanta (five HRs in 229 games), but he remains a solid hitter. He’s batting .270 against right-handers and draws a matchup with Cleveland Indians righty Trevor Bauer on Monday.
