Chicago Bulls head coach Fred Hoiberg is really excited about Brook Lopez joining his team. The only problem is that Chicago acquired his twin, Robin Lopez.

The Chicago Bulls were part of a huge pre-draft trade on Wednesday, sending starting point guard Derrick Rose to the New York Knicks in exchange for three players. Bulls head coach Fred Hoiberg met with the media on Monday to discuss how fired up he is to get All-Star center Brook Lopez on his team. The only problem is that Chicago traded for Lopez’s twin brother, Robin Lopez, the rim protector that likes to fight mascots.

Brook Lopez is a former All-Star center for the rebuilding Brooklyn Nets. He’s a skilled offensive big man, with nice touch near the rim and a relatively conservative head of hair. Robin Lopez has bounced around the NBA on several different teams as a great rim protector. He rocks some Sideshow Bob hair and has some serious beef with all things NBA mascots.

Robin Lopez will probably replace soon-to-be free agent Joakim Noah in the front court, as a starting defense-first center. Chicago has a logjam of front court players, including Taj Gibson, Nikola Mirotic and Bobby Portis, and Lopez will have to get on good terms with Benny the Bull.

Hoiberg may have been very impressed by Brook Lopez’s game when he was working in the Minnesota Timberwolves front office, before beginning his head coaching career at his alma mater, Iowa State. However, he’s got the other Lopez brother on his team now.
