Iceland forward Kolbeinn Sightorsson somehow pushed his shot past Joe Hart to bring his side up 2-1 on England in the Euros Round of 16

Iceland and England got things started at a torrid pace in their Round of 16 matchup in the 2016 Euros. Wayne Rooney scored in the fourth minute of the fixture after Raheem Sterling drew a penalty, but Iceland defender Ragnar Sigurdsson answered soon after off of a beautiful play on a long throw-in. Then tied at 1-1, momentum was still hanging in the balance. It was the spunky underdogs in Iceland ready to take control—albeit thanks to some shaky goalkeeping.

Trying to control possession, Iceland were moving the ball around quickly around the box trying to find an opening. When forward Kolbeinn Sightorsson got the ball at his fit directly atop the box and in front of the goal, he turned into space to have a go. His shot wasn’t all too masterful, but it was enough to give Joe Hart fits and to squirt into the net after Hart only got a weak one hand on the effort:

Someone is going to need to take Joe Hart to therapy after this tournament. When you think about all of the moments that England have looked at their worst throughout this tournament, their keeper has been at the center of all too many of them.

That shouldn’t take away from the play of Iceland and Sightorsson, though. They’ve had England on their heels with their fearlessness on both ends of the pitch and it gave them a 2-1 lead against one of the best teams in the Euros.
