Sadio Mane has officially completed his move to Liverpool.
Liverpool seems to have kicked start their 2016-17 campaign with some impressive signings so far. They found a goalkeeper to push Simon Mignolet in former Mainz keeper Loris Karius, found a good reliable defender in Joel Matip and now have a speedy and a good passing winger in Sadio Mane from Southampton.
Liverpool announced the signing of Mane today for £34 million. This is the third highest price tag The Reds have spent on a player and only time will tell if Mane is worth the price.

The Senegalese footballer told Liverpool’s official site how excited he is to join a club like as historic as Liverpool. “Today is a big day and I am very happy to sign for one of the biggest clubs in Europe.
“It’s a club that has won a lot of trophies and has a big history,” said Mane.
Mane enjoyed a pretty successful spell at Southampton, where he made 75 appearances and scored 25 goals and 12 assists in two season for The Saints. Before he joined the Premier League in 2014, he started his career at French club Metz before he made the move to Austrian club Red Bull Salzburg for two seasons.
Mane will bring speed and a good ability to incorporate all his teammates into the attacking phase of the game. The Reds looked to apply the young 20-year-old Jordan Ibe on the right side of the pitch and Mane would be a good fit, as Ibe would look better suited for a bench role for now. He can also be slotted in the center attacking role incase Jurgen Klopp wants to rotate his lineup a little.

Time will tell if Mane will be a good signing, but he has been a key player for a resurgent Southampton team. He is a player that can make good runs down the wing and has the ability to put the ball in the back of the net as well.
