Coastal Carolina Chanticleers vs. Arizona Wildcats

After a hectic NCAA Baseball Tournament through the Regionals and Super Regionals and an even more thrilling 2016 College World Series, it all comes down to this in Omaha on Wednesday night. The Arizona Wildcats and Coastal Carolina Chanticleers will meet once more in Game 3 of the College World Series to determine who the national champion is.

It’s been a wild ride from the start for both of these teams in the NCAA Baseball Tournament. Arizona’s program is one of the most historic in the nation, but they haven’t been to these heights in quite some time. Meanwhile, Coastal Carolina had never been to the College World Series at all before this year, so making it to the Final was accomplishment enough—but winning it all would be historic. So who will it be on Wednesday night in Game 3? Arizona getting back to their historical prominence or Coastal Carolina making history and a name for themselves? It’s too soon to tell, but it should be a thrill to watch.
