Chicago White Sox

The White Sox have had a roller coaster season to say the least. It began with Adam LaRoche retiring because they would not allow his son in the clubhouse. Then they traded for struggling pitcher James Shields and signed veteran Justin Morneau. Now after a red hot start, they find themselves at 40-39 and falling fast out of the division race.

The White Sox run an outfield that includes Melky Cabrera, Austin Jackson and Adam Eaton. They seem to be strong contenders for Jay Bruce. Bruce has the option again to DH for a team that has the win now mentality but does not have the team for it.

The White Sox have players but are one piece away. Chris Sale is emerging as one of the best pitchers in baseball, Todd Frazier has been one of the game’s premier power hitters for years, and Jose Abreu is one of the best young talents in the game.

Right when we thought baseball was back in Chicago with both teams eyeing a World Series, the White Sox came back to Earth and are now seeking help. Do not be surprised to see Bruce in black and white this season.
