FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy baseball lineup-June 30
Check out my FanDuel daily picks as you try to close out the month of June with a DFS fantasy baseball win.
Major League baseball wraps up June with a solid day of baseball with 11 total games on the schedule. Three of those contests are this afternoon with the other eight under the lights tonight providing us with 16 teams to pick from in today’s “Main” competition on FanDuel. For today’s FanDuel daily picks, I’ve focused on those eight games highlighting the players I think are ready to step up and produce for your team.
The only game threatened by weather tonight is the Kansas City @ St. Louis game, so monitor that situation as we get close to first pitch at Busch Stadium. The contest will lock at 7:05 when the Nationals host the Reds to get the evening underway. At 7:07, the Blue Jays will try and slow down the red-hot Indians who will be going for their 13th straight win. At 7:10, two more games get underway as the Rays host the Tigers and the Mets welcome in the Cubs. In the two late games out West tonight, the A’s look to take their fourth straight from their cross-Bay rivals the Giants while the Mariners welcome in the hard-hitting Orioles who are looking to set the record for the most HR in June.
As we continue moving quickly through the MLB season and come up to the All Star break, make sure to stay tuned to all our fantasy baseball coverage. My FanDuel daily picks will continue to be posted most mornings right here at FanSided. My picks are designed to provide you the information you need to build your own lineup that can bring home a win for your team. In order to help you find the position and price-point that you need, there are a variety of options on each slide with high-salary options, mid-range options, and high-value options at each position.

For starting pitchers and outfielders, I’ve separated my picks into high-salary and high-value options on separate slides while the other positions each get one slide per position with multiple pricing options. I base each of my picks on the current form of each player and the matchups each player will face in tonight’s contest game.
I’ve found it very helpful to rank my picks every morning for whatever sport I’m writing about using stars after each selection to show the strength of the pick. I’ll continue that rating system as I move over to cover fantasy baseball. For a full explanation of the rating system, check out the last slide of this post, but in short, more stars means more confidence (on a points-per-dollar basis). Also on the final slide of the post, you can see how I’m putting together the my most confident picks into my lineups for today’s competition. I suggest you build your own customized team with the players you like the most, but you’re welcome to check out my lineups and use them as a place to get started.
In my FanDuel daily picks, all salary references and references to “fantasy points” refer to FanDuel pricing and scoring. If you are looking for similar coverage specifically for DraftKings, check the box above for related posts or find the latest on the fantasy baseball hub.
