5. San Antonio Spurs

For as long as Kevin Durant has been in the league with the Oklahoma City Thunder, the San Antonio Spurs have been their biggest rivals each and every season. Now, the Spurs will get their chance to woo the man that helped eliminate them in the playoffs this year.

Simply put, without Durant on their roster, the Spurs are already a championship contender and one of the best teams in basketball. They won a ridiculous amount of games last season and adding a lethal scorer in Durant would make them the instant championship favorites in basketball.

Having LaMarcus Aldridge, Kawhi Leonard, and Durant would set the Spurs up to dominate for a very long time. Actually, they’re already going to do that with their current roster alone and the makeup of their organization from the top on down.

It could be hard for Durant to pick a team that he has battled with for so long, but the thought of him on the Spurs would make a lot of basketball fans very happy at the thought.

It would also be the second year in a row in free agency that the Spurs were able to land the top prize available on the market, after getting Aldridge last year.
