Los Angeles Clippers

The Clippers are right there. They’ve been right there for a few years now, and they just need one more guy to push them a little into title favorite status. Durant is just the guy to do it with his spot at small forward being the exact piece the Clippers need to complete their dominant starting lineup. Chris Paul has the respect of everybody in the NBA, and will make sure the ball is in Durant’s hands right where it needs to be. J.J. Redick will run his defender into the ground and will always be ready to receive a pass. DeAndre Jordan is one of the best two way centers in the NBA, and Blake Griffin is a star just now entering his prime.

Durant won’t even have to worry about getting his touches, because Chris Paul prefers to get the offense going as to shooting himself, and Doc Rivers is a good enough coach to find a way to get the ball to Durant where he wants it. The Clippers are underrated defensively, and with Durant will be destructive on the offensive side of the ball. It’s in Los Angeles, for the team that’s actually contending for titles these days, and he’s going to turn them from contenders to favorites. This is a team good enough to compete for multiple titles, but only if Durant is part of it.
