Milwaukee Bucks

Sometimes the midwest just does it better. LeBron James went to Cleveland and look at how that turned out for him? The Bucks are subtly one of the NBA’s most historic franchises, having been around since the league was in their early years. All-time greats like Oscar Robertson and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar have played here. Sure, Milwaukee might not have the flash of a Los Angeles, the respect of a Boston, or the weather of a Miami, but what it does have is a small and successful history. All-time greats in Milwaukee are local legends that will be loved by the fanbase forever.

Nobody has managed to win it all for the city since the Big O and Kareem did it, but many have tried. Brandon Jennings thought they could win in 6, Ray Allen got close, and now it’s Durant’s turn to bring it home for them. Milwaukee might not strike anybody as a major basketball city, but when that team is winning those fans get loud and they make sure the world knows to Fear the Deer. Durant will fit in perfectly with the absurd amount of length on this roster, and with Giannis moving down to point guard there’s no need to worry about his position being taken. Durant will dominate, and he’ll join a very exclusive club of Milwaukee based champions. Winning a title with the Bucks is just better than winning one elsewhere.
