New Orleans Pelicans

The Pelicans are stuck in the mud right now, and Durant is just the guy they need to get them where they want to be. They have a once in a generation offensive talent in Anthony Davis, and Alvin Gentry is just the type of coach to bring out the offensive potential on a team that features both Durant and Davis. Their length alone will make even the greatest of defenders wet their pants as those two sprint down the floor together flying through the air like a mechanized death bird. Davis and Durant on the same team is so scary that Pierre the Pelican himself will be terrified of their destructive power.

Then, Durant also gets to play in New Orleans — one of the NBA’s best cities featuring their own unique culture, and some of the best food anywhere in the United States. The nightlife is great, and when you win in New Orleans the city will never make you buy a drink ever again. Be part of an era in basketball that truly established itself culturally in the city. Chris Paul started it, and now Kevin Durant will be able to finish it with Anthony Davis by his side. Striking fear into everybody.
