Phoenix Suns

Phoenix is one of the most successful NBA franchises to never win a title. Charles Barkley, Steve Nash, Amare Stoudemire, Dan Majerle, and Jason Kidd all have worn a Suns jersey at some point. They’ve made multiple trips to the NBA Finals in their franchise history, caused a revolution across the NBA with 7 Seconds or Less, and yet they still haven’t managed to grab that elusive title. If Durant signs in Phoenix he can be the guy that finally wins them the title they’ve been searching for all these decades. He’ll be beloved in Phoenix for doing what so many great teams before him came up short on, and the best part is he’ll be healthy for all of it.

The Suns doctors either practice magic, or some kinda special voodoo because NBA players that go there see an unprecedented amount of health. Career-altering injuries are no more, and once they leave those injuries crop right back up. Steve Nash went from a guy that looked like he could play well into his 40’s to someone falling apart on the bench once he left for Los Angeles. Amare Stoudemire’s knees have never been the same since leaving Phoenix. If Durant is worried about long-term health then Phoenix is the place to go. Also, they have the Gorrilla which hands down might be the best mascot in the NBA.
